Aquarium Post Office opens on November 30, 1892. Henry P. Fish serves as the first postmaster. Mail is distributed from Postmaster Fish's home. The post office name changes to Glen Acres on October 19, 1914. Aquarium (renamed Glen Acres) is located three miles north of the town of Vashon on the southeast shore of Vashon Island.
