El 28 de marzo de 2010, Somali TV estrena un video que explica el Censo 2010 a los televidentes Somalíes Americanos. Somali TV es un programa semanal en idioma somalí que se emite en Seattle Cable Access Network.El video forma parte de los esfuerzos de la Oficina del Censo para explicar qué información recolectarán los trabajadores del censo, y para animar a las personas de las comunidades de inmigrantes a llenar sus formularios del censo. Durante los cuatro años que Somali TV ha estado en el aire, ha cubierto la comunidad somalí en Seattle y otras ciudades americanas, y ha proporcionado noticias somalíes. Además de su programa semanal, Somali TV produce videos en idioma somalí explicando los servicios públicos en el Condado King. Tiene una gran participación en los eventos de la comunidad somalí.
