La Sucursal Beacon Hill de la Biblioteca Pública de Seattle está ubicada en Beacon Hill, Seattle, en 2821 Beacon Avenue S, en un edificio financiado por la emisión de bonos “Bibliotecas para Todos” de 1998. La sucursal se abrió en 1945 en un pequeño escaparate en 2708 Beacon Avenue S a manera de prueba, con miembros de grupos comunitarios contribuyendo tiempo y dinero para hacer realidad la sucursal. Beacon Hill se convirtió en una sucursal en toda regla en 1947, y en 1962 se mudó a un local comercial modificado en 2519 15th Avenue S. Seis años después, un incendio en el edificio adyacente por poco destruye la sucursal, pero fue salvada por una intensa lluvia y ocupó este espacio por más de 40 años en total. El edificio actual, diseñado por Carlson Architects, se abrió el 10 de julio de 2004. Su tamaño es tres veces mayor que el del anterior e incluye colecciones especiales en chino, vietnamita, español y tagalog, reflejando algo de la diversidad cultural del vecindario de Beacon Hill al que presta servicios.
