La Asociación Atlética China de Seattle (Seattle Chinese Athletic Association) se funda en julio de 1968.

En julio de 1968, varios miembros de la comunidad china de Seattle forman un grupo con el fin de fomentar el atletismo y la participación comunitaria entre los jóvenes. La Asociación Atlética China de Seattle (Seattle Chinese Athletic Association - SCAA) comienza con 35 muchachos que juegan softbol, tenis y básquetbol. En 2010 la asociación enfoca sus esfuerzos en básquetbol, y más de 200 muchachos y muchachas están activos en sus equipos, inspirando un sentimiento de comunidad dentro de la población china de Seattle.
